Posted by The Chicago Columbia Venture Community (CVC) invites all alumni who are involved in the investment community to join us for a round table discussion. We had an excellent turnout at our organizational meeting last month filled with interesting ideas about how to move forward.
Primarily, we saw considerable curiosity around potential start-up funding opportunities and factors involved in investment decision-making; in addition to a general interest in greater educational and networking events. In order to do our due diligence on this feedback received, we need to learn more about how the local Columbia investment community feels what is necessary to make the CVC a successful entity.
This is a call to all types of investors. Whether you are an angel investor, a venture capitalist, involved in peer-to-peer or banking we want to hear your thoughts on what you would like to see happen with the CVC- of how we can be of the greatest value to local alumni investors.
