In response to overwhelming demand from members, the Epicurean Circle is returning to Turquoise Cafe in Roscoe Village after a 5 year hiatus to re-experience fine Turkish cuisine inspired by royal recipes from the imperial Ottoman era. We kick off the evening at 6 PM with one hour of schmoozing with cash bar. Then, at 7:10 PM, we transition into our 4-course family-style, sit-down dinner in the cafe’s spacious private space. Our set-menu is abundant and offers vegetarian options:
1st Course – Appetizers: Lahmacun and Mujver (vegetarian)
2nd Course – Salads: Turkish Salad and Caesar Salad
3rd Course – Entrees: Assorted meat kebabs and Imam Baylidi (vegetarian)
4th Course – Dessert: A platter of traditional Turkish sweets
See the descriptions of the above dishes from the online menu
The per-person 4-course meal, water, coffee or tea, tax and gratuity are priced at $42.
