Join Dr. Chris Stacey for the final presentation in his three-part series on Chicago's Indian Metropolis. This evening we'll cover Native American Life in Chicago During the 1960s. Bureau of Indian Affairs 1968 “Chicago Story” promotional film. Chicago’s Native American Committee, the O-Wai-Ya-Wa elementary school and the emergence of Intertribal activism. Packet of newspaper articles from the 1960s and look at some primary sources from the Robert Reitz papers.
