Join Columbia alumni Ginia Sweeney, director of interpretation at the Art Institute of Chicago, and Alice Boone, adjunct educator at the Art Institute and manager of Arts + Engineering initiatives at Northwestern’s McCormick School of Engineering, for a conversation about how information offered in a museum gallery can affect our perception of artworks. Attendees will gain a behind-the-scenes insight into the decision making that goes into crafting gallery text at the Art Institute. We'll also try our hand at writing or editing an artwork label!
Wait List: We are taking wait list registrations on a first come basis. Usually, a few seats become available as we get closer to the event. We will notify you up to the day of the event if an opening is avaliable.
