If you don’t believe in magic, this year’s Columbia Club of Chicago Holiday Party event may change your mind.  Join your fellow Columbia Alumni and friends for a Sunday afternoon matinee of mind-bending magic at the Magic Parlour in Chicago.  You’ll experience 3rd Generation Magician Dennis Watkins’ custom magic theater in the heart of downtown Chicago.  

Located adjacent to Goodman Theatre, the Magic Parlour is specifically designed to showcase up-close magic and mind reading. Inspired by the history of parlour magic as its own unique genre, Dennis Watkins’ The Magic Parlour  offers an intimate magical experience. 

Grab a glass of wine, socialize before the show with your fellow alumni and friends, then settle in and reconnect with your sense of childlike wonder as miracles unfold inches in front of your eyes, and even in your own hands.

After the show, join a small group of your fellow alumni and friends at one of a few local restaurants within walking distance for dinner while discussing what you think you saw during the show and how it could have been accomplished.

More Information on the Magic Parlour

Dennis Watkins is an award-winning, third-generation magician, actor and entertainer.  His work has been seen on CBS, WGN, ABC, FOX, the A&E Network and on the CW Network’s hugely popular Penn & Teller: Fool Us. The Magic Parlour is designed for adults, but there is nothing unsuitable for children in the show. The show is open to guests ages 12 and up. Guests under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
