Black Lives Matter Film Club Discusses Do The Right Thing
Join BLM film club co-founder Eric McKissack and fellow Columbia alumni for a discussion of Spike Lee’s masterpiece Do The Right Thing (1989). Considered one of the greatest films of all time, Do The Right Thing explores racial tensions in a Brooklyn neighborhood. Roger Ebert wrote: “I have been given only a few filmgoing experiences in my life to equal the first time I saw Do the Right Thing. Most movies remain up there on the screen. Only a few penetrate your soul.” We hope you can join us for a discussion about this essential cinematic classic.
