Columbia Alumni and guests are invited to join Chicago area alumni for a special reception. Jonathan Knee, professor of professional practice and co-director of the media and technology program at Columbia Business School, will lead a discussion on his book, Class Clowns: How the Smartest Investors Lost Billions in Education. Professor Knee will discuss what makes a good education business, from the perspective of investors and policy makers. He will also examine the particular challenges faced by so-called edu-preneurs who seek to profit from disrupting the status quo in education.
