For nearly 90 years the Grant Park Music Festival has been Chicago's summer musical sensation, demonstrating that classical music performed by a world-class orchestra and chorus can have a transformative impact on the city. 

Experience Chicago’s summer vibe by joining Columbia Alumni and Friends for one of the Music Festival’s events on July 31st on the lawn at the Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park.  Bring your picnic basket and enjoy the sounds of ‘Broadway Rocks!’  From Jesus Christ Superstar to Tommy to Tina Turner, rock music has long been embedded in American musical theater.

Cost: Lawn seating is free. 

Meet-Up: Registrants are emailed with directions on where to meet us at the event.

This time, the Grant Park Orchestra will celebrate the jukebox musical, with everything from ABBA to Dolly Parton to Queen to Michael Jackson.
